My favorite shop in Williamsburg is American Harvest. Cindy has great items and her decorating is fantastic. I look forward to visiting her each year and just browsing through the store. We went there three or four times and I see something new each time I go in. If you have a chance to visit, you won't be disappointed!!
On our way home, we took a detour and stopped in Apex, NC at The Rusty Bucket. WOW!! I haven't seen a primitive shop like that in a long time. I will definitely visit again. Go through the doors and you step back in time. The shopkeeper is Pam and she makes you feel very welcome. I love everything she has in that shop!! Be sure and check out the appliances in the kitchen area....OMG!! Fantastic!! They were awarded the 2007 Retailer of the Year and I can definitely see why.

Hey, sounds like the vacation I was wanting.....but we have spent so much on the house and have so many projects to complete still that is not likely to happen this year!
I may have to sneak out to The Rusty Bucket one day! Beth
