Boogity, Boogity, Boogity!!! Yeppers, this southern gal likes racing. Spent all afternoon in front of the TV watching the Daytona 500 while sewing hair on Lil' Annie's head. Pretty good race...not great...but OK. I loved racing when David Pearson (my hometown favorite), Ned Jarrett, Richard Petty, Fireball Roberts, Junior Johnson, Cale Yarborough, Dale Earnhardt (of course) and a few others really raced. Those were the good old days. When these guys retired or passed on, I picked Dale Jarrett for my favorite and stuck with him through good and bad. Now, he's retiring and I'm deciding who my guy is gonna be. I could pick most anybody but Tony Stewart. Ouch, I bet I stepped on a few toes. LOL!! Nope, racing is not what it used to be and I gotta say, I miss the good old days when money wasn't the reason you got on the track.

Yeeee-Hawwww!!! But I agree, its not the same like it was. Its so commercialized, its down right ridiculous!
I've been a Jeff Gordon fan since way back! (I heard all the gasps!) Yep, its true. That boy can drive!

P.S.
I'll step on a few more toes...I don't like Stewart either. :> )
I just started to watch Nascar a few years ago and really am starting to like it..I got a love-hate thing going on with Tony Stewart (don't hit me)...LOL
Annie
I love Nascar and for me its prime stuffing time. With three or fours its take for a race I can get alot of doll making in. I'm a Jimmy Johnson fan.
